Meet the artist behind the pencil…
Welcome!
Jessica Mouland is an accomplished artist renowned for her exquisite ability to capture the essence of fieldsports, wildlife, and beloved canine companions we all cherish.
With a background in traditional art techniques, Jessica employs coloured pencils to bring her subjects to life, with precision but also depth and warmth. Each bespoke pet portrait is tailored to the client's vision, capturing not only a likeness but also the unique personality of the animal, making every piece a treasured keepsake for its owner and infused with personal significance.
In addition to pet portraits, her original work often reflects the serene beauty of the natural world, intertwining the grace of wildlife and the thrill of all fieldsports. Whether depicting a stately stag in a sun-drenched glade or a loyal hound poised in anticipation, Jessica's pieces resonate a deep appreciation for the rural pursuits and the creatures that inhabit these landscapes.
“Growing up in the Dorset countryside, I have always been captivated by the fauna and flora that surrounded me, spending countless hours uncovering the exquisite beauty of the great outdoors. My childhood was intricately woven with a wide range of country pursuits and I still partake in a lot of them to this day. Each of these activities deepened my connection to nature and enriched my understanding of the rural landscape, as well as the working animals also that accompany us. Through my creations, I aim to celebrate the intricate relationship between country pursuits and the natural beauty that surrounds us, keeping that passion alive in every piece of art."

“Of all paths you take in life, make sure a few of them are dirt.”
